Those are the only photos I've seen, but, apparently, he survived the blast, and was semi-conscious when the authorities arrived. Pretty amazing when considering the rubble. http://today.reuters.com/news/newsar...Art-R2-Today-3 |

"thunder" wrote in message ......apparently, he survived the blast, and was semi-conscious when the authorities arrived. Pretty amazing when considering the rubble. And considering the size and impact of the blasts. The military video showing on the web is impressive but not very clear. I fisrt thought that the safe house was surrounded by numerous other houses or buildings, many of which appeared to be severely impacted by the blast. But that is not at all the case. The safe house is (was) remote, out along a road in an area that appears to be orchard or managed forest of some sort. You can see it on Google Earth at N33 48 03 E44 30 48. The military video is a view looking southward. |

I can't figure out why they have brought whats left of him to the U.S.
to perform an autopsy on whats left of him. Why bring him here? sort of ironic, that it would rimind me of Clint Eastwoods' "Outlaw Josey Wales" movie wright after he shot the bounty hunter idiots. and the guy says. "Well...arn't we going to buy them"? Eastwood says..... "Hell with those two! Buzzards gotta eat...same as worms!" "JohnH" wrote in message American officials said he had suffered no gunshot wounds, trying to dispel suggestions that someone had delivered a coup de grāce at the scene." Why dispel those rumors at all? I'd let them all think we stuffed a pork sausage up his ass and then took his head off with a rusty knife. In fact, he was alive long enough after we had him to do just that... pity someone didn't. -W (would have gladly donated my Italian sausage supply for a worthy cause) |

JohnH wrote: Now, what's the weather like. Are you going out today? Here, Chesapeake Bay, NOAA is saying winds 10 - 15 kts, waves to one foot. Sounds good, except that I have to go to a graduation party for a niece. Damn! Don't regret going to the party, John. Only one party for the niece. Other weekends for the boat ?: |

wrote in message oups.com... John, thats what I've picked up on radio news.... I did hear that DNA samples had been taken, and these samples were transported back to FBI or military labs in the US for analysis, but I belive pathologists were sent to Iraq to perform an autopsy there. |
