I have a Merc 100 that used to belong to my dad, and I need to get rid
of it. It has been in a shed since the late 70s since he sold his boat. I'm in CT and 2-strokes aren't legal to use here (it was last used in Maine). Is there a proper method of disposal other than taking it all apart and tossing the parts into a dumpster? Am I correct in assuming that no collector would have a use for this model? Mike Tracy |

I'd put it up on ebay either in whole or in parts. There are many like
me who like to rebuild old outboards. You will make more money by parting it out if you don't mind the hassle of disassembly, cleaning and shipping the parts.
