HELP: I lost my father-in-laws boat key for a QuickSilver/Mercury Outboard

Does anyone know where the KeyCodes are on the older (1975-1985)
Quicksilver sidemount throttles? I've lost the key to my father-in-laws
boat and I need a replacement fast! Theres a 4 digit code on the side
rear of the throttle. The code is 0694, can anyone help? I called
Mercury Parts, but they were no help. Also, I read somewhere on the web
that the last 2 digits are the keycode, is that correct?

Best,

Alex C.

If you had the key code, what would you do next? Careful. This is a trick
question.

It will most likely be a long distance call for you but call Parma Marine

They have been around forever and can most likely answer your question.
