Not Teflon. All the newer aluminum Jetboats use UHMW plastic. You can get
it cut to size at a good plastic supplier. 1/2" and then counter sink the
screw head in to the plastic.

How well do they work? I've often wondered.

They work great on the boats. Allows you to launch and retrieve in shallow
water with ease. The boat slides like on a roller trailer, but with the
support of a bunk.

We have a wood hull, not fiberglass. Bunks were carpeted and was too much
friction.
Bought the spray bunker stuff from West Marine. I think it's called "liquid
rollers" or
something like that. It works REALLY WELL. Be careful you don't put on more
than
you want. I like it because you can add just enough, it's very easy, and the
bunks are
still carptet, not plastic.
