Hello All,
I recently got my boat out of storage and while looking it over noticed a very small oil leak in the rubber hose between the integral oil tank and the oil pump. I have since replaced the line but can't figure out how to bleed the system of any air. I have the Clymer Shop Manual and it shows the bleed screw for every other model but not this one. (my luck) To help, I have uploaded 2 images that may be of assistance. . 1. The drawing of the pump in the manual: http://users.zoominternet.net/~mjr/oil/oil_pump2.jpg 2. A actual picture of my engine showing the pump: http://users.zoominternet.net/~mjr/oil/oil_pump.jpg Worst case, I suspect I can run the engine from a pre mix external tank until I am sure oil is getting injected into the system. But I sure would like to know which is the actual bleed screw. Any help is certainly appreciated. Regards Marty |
