the total amount of donations has gone over the $3000 mark.

WAY TO GO!!

Much of it is due to you guys, and my daughter can't believe it. You've
done a lot to improve her morale, which for some reason has always been
higher than my own.

If you'll recall, my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer last fall,
at age 37. She's had a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and is going in for some
more surgery in a couple weeks (on the 17th).

The Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation is sponsoring a Race for the
Cure in Richmond, VA, on the 13th of May. About 150 people will be in the
race running on the "Racing for Renee" team. The donations are for the
Susan G. Koman Breast Foundation.

As part of the deal, I was given a web site to use to collect donations for
the foundation in the team's name. The website is:

Furthermore, I've offered to match any contributions made through the site
by people in the group up to the goal. (Except for one person whose
contribution I'll triple!)

So, there it is. Make a big enough contribution and I'll have to sell my
boat!
