paddling near Gainesville, FL
 

I've going to be in Gainesville, FL from 5/8 to 5/12 for a conference and
will have the afternoon on the 11th free. I was thinking of renting a car
and driving toward Cedar Key to do some paddling but from what I've seen on
the web most of the kayak shops in the area only rent sit on tops or rec
boats. Does anyone have a recommendation for someplace that'll rent a
touring kayak (and a place to paddle it) within a reasonable distance from
Gainseville?
