crownline 250 , regal 256 performance at open sea
Hi everybody, I am considering buing a used Crownline 250 or Regal 256
Commodore (models around 1995), to use at sea here in Greece, where we get 4-5 Beauforts very easily at summer and there is short but persisting waves at 1 meter (~3 feet). Can anyody share their experience at other than flat lake/river water, please? Does someone know the deadrise of those age models? Thanks in advance and regards! Dimitris |

Dimitris Follow this link: http://www.powerboatguide.com/ For $29.95 US you can download the pdf version of the Trailerboat Guide. That's the book somebody would need to have on hand and look into to answer your question about deadrise- (assuming that nobody has deadrise figures committed to memory for 10-12 year old boats). You can also search Yachtworld and other classified ad sites to see if people are mentioning deadrise for those models, but be careful with that approach. I recently was looking for a deadrise figure on an older boat and got 3 different "unofficial" claims that varied by a total of 8 degrees! The Traileboat Guide would at least be accurate. |
