Speaking of Tax Refunds...

...I don't get much of one, and neither do most people who do proper tax
planning, but I guess that excludes Dick Cheney, who reportedly is getting
a $1.9 million refund.

I'm sure it is perfectly legal, but, sheesh, talk about a guy who knows
and cares nothing about even the semblance of appearances.

I paid Federal taxes equivalent to 14% of my gross this year. Deductions
are a very good thing. ;-)

But I'd be just as happy with a flat tax of 15%, with an exemption on the
first $30-40,000.

You tend to salivate over the current "liberation" campaign in Iraq. Who do
you think should be paying for it?

The Iranians. They're the ones causing the trouble.

ROFL! Fortunately, you don't come 'round here much any more, or my ribs
would hurt.

The boating info on rec.boats sucks. But the political discussions are
always a hoot.

I hang on, hopeful one more female cop living with a male hairdresser asks
for help naming that new Bayliner.

I must have missed that one. Female cop and male hairdresser?

It's my fantasy post for rec.boats, in terms of giggles. We had about
everything else in the earlier days.
Female cops have a rep, deserved or not, for being a bit butch.

Ireland has better-looking ones than the U.S.:
