I spent a long weekend at the lake, but it doesn't seem like I missed very
much in rec.boats, it seems everything in rec.boats is back to "normal".
Today is Friday Reggie, the normal *start* of the weekend. Do *your*
weekends run M-TH? ;-)

Last weekend went from Friday - Tuesday, as I said, it was a long
weekend. I read a little bit of the NG on Wed, but it was too many long
expanded threads with silly repetitive fights, so I did a "mark all
messages read". On Thursday, I skimmed over the NG, saw the same thing,
so again I did a "mark all messages read". I logged on this morning as
it was more of the same.

As I said the NG is back to "normal".
You missed some boating threads.

I am sure I did, the problem is they were hidden under a 1000 posts
saying "I am right, you are wrong". I mean how many times can one say
the same thing over and over before getting bored.

From my quick skim, it looks like even Harry got bored of most of the
threads.

Well, don't overlook the 'Dewinterizing' post I'm going to make!

JohnH,
I really wasn't commenting on any of your posts. Have you put your boat
in the water yet?

No, but I posted a plea for some expertise. I just got it out of the shed
this past Thursday. I'm taking the batteries up tomorrow and, if all is
well, will crank it up.
