no they didn't cheat.

The german text below means that the jets ordered until now are only for a
maximum of 644 passengers.

They tested with 650 which is ok for now.

Do you really think that the american authorities could be cheated so
easily??

vorsichtig geheißen.

Our government is always for sale, which is why most jets are death traps in
a fire. It's been proven, and it's known to the FAA. The airlines have
convinced the agency that certain things are just too expensive to fix.

The slide deflated??? I would think that should be among the simplest

spending $2 billion a week to sustain it, all based upon reports on which
someone cheated. :}



I thought the Germans knew this already, which is why they've steered clear
of the cluster phuque, except for some shared intelligence.

Well Harry,

seems to me that America will solve this problem one way or the other.
It's not up to me as a german to critisise.
But: I like the new airbus and the 747.
When they rise up into the skies they are just beautiful.
And dangerous...thats the way it is.

I think your Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin had the right idea - way
before it's time.


It's hard to believe in this technology and computer age that the Boeing 767
was the first airplane to be 100% designed in terms of aerodynamics by a
computer.

You can tell the elegance of the design by just looking at it. Much like a
boat with good lines appears made for the water, the 767 looks like it
should be flying .... even sitting on the ground.

Still won't fly in one though.

Much too heavy and underpowered.


I do believe that is the first and only time I've ever heard a Z06 described
as underpowered, I guess everything is relative, but I gotsta ask, compared
to what?
