If I could still buy a decent typewriter, I probably wouldn't even have a computer. It's obvious I don't know how to use one. :-) http://tinyurl.com/rxwmj This should work, I hope. Nope. Crap. It works for me, probably because there's a cookie on my computer that gets me by the password functinn. :-( |

Just a bunch of ads...Why do we have to be a member and log in to see
your stuff? I know..get an account with a local ISP (Seanet...) and put up your own website. Easy, and you won't be assulting your viewers with pop-ups and blogs from Eastman ("gezzus, digital cameras are killing us!") Kodak. Put the pics over in abpso. It's very easy. Just resize them down to something reasonable and post away! -- 'Til next time, John H ****************************************** ***** Have a Spectacular Day! ***** ****************************************** |

Thanks. Look for a start-to-finish series illustrating the experience of going through a project of this magnitude. I do need to come up with a better method for sharing photos with the NG. |

Chuck, please consider using - alt.binaries.pictures.sports.ocean - if your server has it. Many here are using it for posting pictures there and it's a lot easier than the web-based image services. A portion of my boating expenses are technically tax deductible. If I take the boat somewhere to write a destinatin article, for instance, I can deduct my expenses up to the amount that I earn writing that article. However, my nemesis the AMT comes around and wipes out most of my legitimate deductions, so the actual cash benefit to me is either zero or very negligible. The original editor for the publication had a contract that required him, as a condition of employment, to own and maintain a powerboat at least 35-feet in length. Joila, instant business expense- but I think you'd need a pair the size of grapefruit to try that same tax stunt in this day and age. :-) |
