Thanks,
I thought so but the picture was labeled as right from the website I
d/loaded it from .... it had me second guessing.

If you look close at the picture, notice that the backing plate
mounting holes for the brake parts can be either right or left - just
depends on which side you are mounting it.

I think the large shoe needs to be on the back side of the assembly. On
either side.

If it won't stop in forward but stops on a dime in reverse, switch the
shoes front to back. The plate will go on either side.

Thanks for the heads up.
Fixed...kids playing with it...geesh...
Funny..I never knew that the date on the posting computer would appear
on the news server like that. I would have thought the news server
would do it's own dating of messages? Odd.

No, the larger shoe always goes towards the back.

the front brake actuates the rear brake. Causing more force to be appled to
the brake. therefore the large shoe on the back.

Please explain HOW there is "more force" applied to the secondary
shoe??? The PRIMARY shoe, which is the front, is largest.

The rotation of the wheel carries the front one top to the front, and bottom
to the back. The rear brake, being anchored at the top, is wedged against
the drum with extra force applied by the front shoe to the bottom of the
rear brake.

Before you make such an outlandish statement, please show proof that Kevin
doesn't always drive his jeep in reverse.
