New Florida town would restrict abortion
Domino's founder building community around Catholic university

NAPLES, Florida (AP) -- If Domino's Pizza founder Thomas S. Monaghan has
his way, a new town being built in Florida will be governed according to
strict Roman Catholic principles, with no place to get an abortion,
pornography or birth control.

Hey...why not? The Scientologists own Clearwater. Why shouldn't Monaghan
own Naples?

Hey, why not.

I always thought Monaghan should have been arrested for fraud. That crap
he served at his food preparation pits isn't pizza.

I kind of relish the idea of setting up a small business right outside of
Monaghan's town, right on the highway you have to drive on to get into and
out of it, offering, of course, and in NEON:

ABORTIONS ON DEMAND! 50 COTS 50! NO WAITING! CURBSIDE SERVICE!

CONDOMS! ALL KINDS! ALL COLORS! ALL SIZES!

101 VARIETIES OF DEEP PORN! MAGAZINES! VIDEOS!

And, of course, for the truly morally pure flatliners who want to live in
Monaghan's burg:

GUNS! AMMO! TARGETS! GRENADES!

RELIGIOUS AMULETS! HOLIER-THAN-THOU WATER!

INDULGENCES BOUGHT AND SOLD!

Yeah...that oughta do it.

Better write them in Spanish. THe "highway" you refer to runs west of
Naples to Immokalee. It's almost all migrant farmworkers out that way.
