Hey Mike: got any trips scheduled this summer for Maine? I've kept my entire
summer wide open to spend in the NE in a boat, and so far I only have a
definate Allagash trip planned for the first week in July. If you're in the
New England region with a trip that has space, I know an open boater with
time on his hands.

Same to anyone with a Grand or Deso/Gray trip planned. I can get myself to
put-in. I can even cook :-)

Maine is a maybe this summer.

We are unfocused as far as our summer plans, other than knowing that we
want to spend a couple of weeks in July canoe camping somewhere north
of the mid-Atlantic States.

Our very tentative thoughts are exploring some rivers on the upper
penninsula of Michigan and surrounding areas. But Maine always beckons.

IWe'll probably start narrowing our focus after we get back from a week
of Easter paddling in North Carolina (Lumber River & Black/South Rivers
with some old tripping companions, then Merchants Mill Pond SP for a
few days as a group canoe-in camper)
