I don't personally put a lot of absolute faith in JD Power ratings and
awards, but they often make interesting reading. Here's a link to a
press release about marine engines. I found the comment that boaters in
general are reporting fewer engine related problems to be encouraging.

Umm Chuckles that's because Ficht drove OMC out of business:-) Now
they're back with the latest Ficht experiment expect the numbers to
reverse:-)
