Since we sold our 32 footer and will no longer be taking long range cruises
or extended vacations *on* the boat, I now keep only a single log dealing
mainly with hours of use and maintenance. I also keep receipts of all
maintenance items. The boat does not currently have an hour meter but I
will be installing one before our boating season begins.

We used to keep a log of our boating trips, with comments and notes of those
trips by all family members. Until we get a larger boat and start cruising
the Great Lakes again, that has stopped.
