You guys are really starting to make yourself look foolish with your

It's not an obsession. It's yet another example of the hubris of the Bush
Administration. BTW, I read somewhere that Cheney was engaged in a canned
hunt. Disgusting.

Oh my!

It's apparently "big business" in Texas.

Pennsylvania, too, for wild boar.

In fact.....in many States.

My 'oh my' comment was nothing more than me saying BFD.

Is there at least a chance the boar will turn and attack the hunter?
I know there's not much chance of being pecked to death by a covey of
quail.

You could step in a rut and twist your ankle.

If Cheney is participating in "canned hunts," then he sure as hell isn't
the "hunter" his PR has made him out to be. Might as well "hunt" at the
supermarket.

Why does the picture of Dukakis (sp) in a tank come to mind........or Kerry
with his brand new hunting duds going out "hunting" for a photo op?

Cheney went out because he likes to hunt and has done so all his
life........it was not a photo op.

There was a hunting accident. The gentlemen will live. Move on already
folks.

Not much of a sport. They should stick to clay pigeons.

If you're talking about Krause and sporting clays, smart money would be
on the pigeons. I doubt he could hit 30% with his hand-eye and
inexperience. Add a few rockets 'n rabbits and 25% would be out of his
grasp.

Do you still think that it's okay for the VP to break the law? He was
hunting without a license.
