The video was taken from an AC130 Spectre gunship two and a half miles
away. The guys in the video are setting up a roadside bomb and planning
to ambush an American convoy which followed a short while after the
pictures were taken. They were setting up for the ambush and were pacing
off the distance from the bomb to where the convoy was to pass by.

Needless to say, they weren't around to set off the IUD when the convoy
rolled through.

Too bad the US doesn't have a thousand of those planes to roam all the
major highways in Iraq....or better yet high flying helium balloons.

Looks like those guys on the ground were doing exactly what we'd be doing if
a foreign power had invaded this country. Or, more correctly, I'd be doing
