Seriously - if you
haven't had high quality plastic lenses, you're missing something. You
generally have to go to a small optician to get them. The Pearle Vision /
Lenscrafter type places generally don't supply them.

What do you mean the franchise opticians don't supply them? Do you mean
they don't supply good quality plastic lens? My wife has always
purchased her prescription glasses and sunglasses (ground plastic) from
Lenscrafter's and has never complained about distortion
