" JimH" jimh_osudad@yahooDOT comREMOVETHIS wrote in message ... I need to upgrade my crappy sunglasses now that we are back into boating. The last nice pair I had ended up in Lake Erie 2 years ago while on a cruise on our friends Lyman. Who makes a decent pair of polarized sunglasses with glass lenses? I think my last pair was a Sunglass Hut proprietary brand......no longer available. My eyes are pretty sensitive to sunlight. Any suggestions? Glass? You don't mean glass. You mean high quality plastic. Why not glass? Ditto. I've tried sunglasses made with different types of plastic lenses. Seems like all had some level of distortion or aberration. Nothing compares to glass IMO. RCE I agree. Ever had a properly made pair of plastic prescription shades that cost more than $100? If you have prescription shades ground, even if they are for no correction, you will get a nice light weight sunglass without any distortion. If you want to get a nice looking pair of sunglasses plan on paying $150 - $450 for the frames alone. -- Reggie ************************************************** ************* That's my story and I am sticking to it. ************************************************** ************* |
