I need to upgrade my crappy sunglasses now that we are back into boating.
The last nice pair I had ended up in Lake Erie 2 years ago while on a cruise
on our friends Lyman.

Who makes a decent pair of polarized sunglasses with glass lenses? I think
my last pair was a Sunglass Hut proprietary brand......no longer available.

My eyes are pretty sensitive to sunlight. Any suggestions?

Glass? You don't mean glass. You mean high quality plastic.

Ditto. I've tried sunglasses made with different types of plastic lenses.
Seems like all had some level of distortion or aberration. Nothing
compares to glass IMO.

The polarized Aviators by RayBan is not a bad way to go.

They SUX!!!!! Last 2 pairs I had both broke at the temple piece.
Warrantee? 3 months, and you have to have the receipt and costs to send
them back. For the money they get, forget ever buying Rayban again.

Plastic qualifies as a "sports" or "safety" lens. Nice for deflecting flying
objects, like fishing lures. Glass does not. If you wanna do polarized
right, go to an eyeglass place and ask them to make you a pair of polarized
shades with no prescription.

Maui Jim.

Go to sunglass hut, pick out your style, then buy 'em on ebay.

Too damned expensive retail.

Sheesh. Two dozen posts of crap, and only jps and I answered Jim's
question.

BTW--I like Costa Del Mar more than Maui Jim's.
