I am trying to find a source for a screw / helix type mooring anchor.
The only one I could find is http://www.helixmooringsystems.com/. Is
anyone aware of others?

I anchor my dock and piers with screw anchors that look the website above.
They bolt to a section of pipe which I then screwed into the river bottom
using a pipe wrench. They held fine and we have current that runs up to
13mph. I found them at Menard's..a regional lumber retailer in Wisconsin
and Illinois. I'm sure they must be available elsewhere as they aren't
Menard's brand.
