I agree. I thought they stunk last night. Maybe that is because I
generally never cared for them.
My wife and I did get a kick seeing all the teenyboppers scream and jump
about over them......a bunch of 60 some year old drugged out has-beens
who are old enough to be their grandfathers.
I thought they sounded pretty bad as well, and the entire production
seemed pretty lame, compared to the last couple of years
I wonder, too, if part of the problem is the simple fact that it's a half
time show. No accurate way to do a sound check, since the presence of a
crowd totally alters the dynamics of any stadium. And, the performance is so
short that by the time the band and technicians warm up, it's over.
