Dove that wreck about 10 years ago, would like to get back there this

Fantastico

Just did a fishing trip there bac in Sept. Brought home limit of
Yellowtail, including the largest one I have ever seen, let alone
caught. Had fun playing with some sharks, couple of large barracuda and
some Goliaths. All in all, a GREAT day.

Stoney Point

Hope to dive that one some day.

Do you dive as well?

I got certified in '92, and was very active in diving for a couple of years.
But I haven't dove in at least 8 years. My brother moved down here 6 months
ago, and he and I were just talking about buying some gear and getting back
into diving again.

Hey! Speak for yourself, buddy!

Things we don't have a swarms of mosquitos, oppresive humidity, any
serious need for air conditioning on a boat, early summer sunsets,
manatees, overcrowded transient moorages (most of the time), wall to
wall housing and civilization around our best cruising areas, or a 30
or 40 mile run to someplace that fish are biting. :-)

Oh, and unlike Seattle-ites, we weren't living in fear of a huge
earthquake or tsunami.

Actually, that's very like us Seattleites: Most people here don't worry
much about those things either.

"We pretty much stay out of the water," would pretty much mean I
wouldn't bother with a boat.

Ah, Chuck is just a wuss.

Current water temperature is 48.4°F, and average summer temps reach
about 56°F, just in case you were wondering.

I frequently go salt-water swimming or tubing during the summer,
especially while on vacation up north. Some parts of the Canadian Gulf
Islands are quite warm compared down here in the Sound.

Around here, the water isn't a destination in and of itself, merely a
means to get to that destination.

Ugh, not me. I'm not built to handle anything over 73 degrees, with or
without humidity.

God designed to handle the heat with a built-in air conditioning system:
sweating and evaporation.

You can only get so naked if you're hot, but you can keep adding layers
if you're cold.

What did he give us to deal with cold?

Animals that make very nice coats.
