OT Ref screwed up

By Jarrett Bell, USA TODAY Tue Jan 17, 9:21 AM ET

Upon further review, the NFL acknowledged that
Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu's interception during the
frantic fourth quarter in Sunday's AFC divisional playoff should not
have been overturned after an instant replay review.

But Steelers linebacker Joey Porter's fiery postgame comments that
criticized referee Pete Morelli's crew and suggested a conspiracy to
benefit the
Indianapolis Colts are still under review.

Polamalu's diving pickoff during a furious Colts rally was the most
hotly contested of a series of controversial calls during Pittsburgh's
21-18 victory. After a replay review, Morelli ruled Polamalu's fumble
dictated that he did not have possession when he landed on the turf with
the interception. (Related story: Steelers stun Colts)

Mike Pereira, the NFL's director of officiating, concluded Morelli
didn't follow the rule determining a catch or interception to the letter.

And this has what to do with boats?

Very little, but it's a civil discussion, non-acerbic, non-argumentative
(except in a friendly way). I *know* you understand the difference, Harry.
