Sailing in North Chesapeake

I may have a move in store to the very north of the Chesapeake, Havre
De Grace/ North East River/ Elk River area. I would be moving my full
keel '88 Pearson 31 and would drive 20-30 minutes to a marina.

What is sailing like at the very north end? Can I deal with a 6' draft
north of Aberdeen Proving Grounds?

I'm a racer and have young teenagers. Would be great to find a family
oriented marina ... social, maybe with a pool.

Ideas? Comments?

Welcome to the Bay! Keep your eye out for the Poco Loco when you come south
of the Bay Bridge.
