Default New name.

If you are old enough to remember the JC Whitney catalogs of the late 60's
early 70's (yea, I know they still have catalogs, but it ain't the same)
they sold adapters to put any engine in anything.
As adolescents, we used to conger up all sorts of interesting combinations.

I have no familiarity with I/O's. That said...... there is usually an
adapter for most everything humanity wants to mix and match. Good luck!

Yanno.....

I still can't believe that for the second time in just a little over a

year,
I gotta do an OMC to Merc conversion and then dial in props and

Is this a outboard or inboard?

If it's an inboard, I have a question regarding adaptor plates.

Oh hell, I'll ask it anyway.

On that Chris*Craft/Thompson Corsair that I found, there
is a stringer outdrive. I have recently found a Alpha outdrive
in what appears to be good condition for almost no money.
(Long story and no, it's not hot - as in stolen).

Is there an adapter for the Buick V6 that is in it to the Alpha
drive or should I look around for a Mercruiser?

Thanks in advance.

Later,

Tom
