Why don't you really try some humor on us and tell us that you actually
believe the terrorists hate us for our freedom, we are fighting them in
Iraq so we don't have to fight them here and it was a great idea to invade
Iraq at the cost of 2,200+ American lives. I can't say I've ever heard
anyone actually say they buy this line. The supporters just kind of avoid
the talking about it.

God, this gets tiresome! Look up the word "strategy". Then look at a map.
Try to think. Try to understand it. Try to think past next Thursday. Even
in WW II there were dim folk who kept demanding to know why we were fighting
and dying in North Africa - nowhere near Germany, or in the South Pacific -
nowhere near Japan.
