DUBAI (AP) The training of Iraqi security forces has suffered a big
"setback" in the last six months, with the army and other forces being
increasingly used to settle scores and make other political gains, Iraqi
Vice President Ghazi al-Yawer said Monday.

Ah, yes. VP Ghazi al-Yawer...the man with a 7% (seven percent!) approval
rating among Iraqis.

You like to focus on approval ratings. How is his popularity connected with
the accuracy of what he's saying?

Not really. Bush's popularity is of no consequence. Anything he says
correctly is scripted. Anything spontaneous is the next best thing to having
him evaluated by a special ed teacher for remedial teaching.

This isn't funny. You think al-Yawer's poll results somehow reflect on his
knowledge of the area. Meanwhile, your knowledge of the area comes from one
or more news sources whose personnel have probably never left the U.S.

Yeah, and that's because Iraqis don't want our form of democratic
government. Never did. Bush tried to force it on them, now it just
isn't working.
