I think it's more the lack of user friendly packaging and compatibility with MS Office, etc. E-mail is a general term now used for office productivity software. Which is the combination of e-mail, calendar, contacts, tasks and such. With today's business world the ability to schedule meetings and such the need for the integrated e-mail and calendar software is prime. Typically the interaction between the vendor's products is poor if non-existent. This issue is like the Intstant Messaging issue where the vendors don't want to enable interactions with their competitiors products. |
