Holiday Shopping Annoyance #1

Most of the rebates I get these days are for business purchases at Staples. Their web site makes the rebates a breeze. None have gone missing. |

If you want to attract customers with a discount price, the way to do it is with point-of-purchase coupon, just like the supermarkets do it. Agreed. Staples just screwed my son out of $ 12.00 re a memory card purchase rebate for his new digital camera. He sent the 'duplicate' receipt and application form late September. Just last week a small postcard came saying they couldn't verify his purchase and for him to re-submit. Of course he's 3000 miles away now in Banff Alberta. Looks like Staples saves another $ 12.00. |

You mean, he sent in the rebate receipt they provided, and it was lost? I'm pretty sure there's a rebate hotline listed on the web site. He should call and raise hell. |
