President Bush gave an impassioned and rosy speech on the way forward in
Iraq at the U.S. Naval Academy Wednesday. It's just too bad that the
picture he painted of today's Iraq was an illusion, and most of his
assertions about the future were wrongheaded.

Just wondering...
Who wrote this editorial, and what makes him/her more of an expert than Joe
Lieberman, who just got back from his 4th visit to Iraq...and has an
immensely different view than the author of your op-ed piece?

Who wrote this editorial, and what makes him/her more of an expert than
Joe Lieberman, who just got back from his 4th visit to Iraq...and has an
immensely different view than the author of your op-ed piece?

It's the same mantra from the left: The Republicans are bad, anything Bush
does or says is bad. You never hear about the Democrat's plan for the
future, it is always just we are against the Republicans and what they are
doing.

When the Democrats finally learn that the voters want someone of principle
and who is going to follow through with what they say they are going to do,
then they might start down the path to regain the House and Senate.
