People care about the stock market hitting a 4 1/2 year high, the low unemployment rate, the increased spending on big-ticket manufactured goods, the dropping fuel prices, and the improving consumer confidence numbers. When a well-known and well-respected Democratic Senator crosses party lines to write glowing, first-hand reports on conditions in Iraq, that's just icing on the cake. The good news is beginning to show in Bush's improving poll numbers too! |
