Couldn't help but notice that those Seahawks managed to beat N.Y.

Yeah. It's a mixed blessing, however.

If they win another game or two we will most likely have to move the
boat show up to January 6-14, rather than the originally scheduled Jan
13-22.

The Seahawks unusual (for that particular team, at least) success has a
lot of people scrambling to rearrange things just 5 short weeks in the
future. One of the prices one must pay for sharing a venue with a
professional sports team.

Still, when my son and I are watching the game on the afternoon of the
24th I'll be rootin' for the Hawks. They're inconveniencing the entire
boating industry up this way, but it makes sense for the general joy of
the community to trump the inconvenience to boating related businesses.

Neither team could put this game away. Giants came back in the last of
the 4th to tie the game on a 2 pt. conversion.

Seahawks had the ball at their own 20 with 2:00 left in the 4th and
ended up punting the ball away :36 later. Unfreakinbelievable. That
sequence ended with the first of Jay Feely's three attempts to win the
game that he missed.

After two more Feely misses in OT (I had lost the game emotionally three
times at this point), the Hawks finally managed to get a forty yard pass
well into Giants territory and a few plays later our kicker had a chip
shot from the 30.

This was an ugly finish to a not so great game. Giants defense was
pretty awesome. We're damned lucky to have won it.

It was ugly, but it was a win for the Seahawks. Feely has pooched too
many field goals this season.
