Repair question
I have a Johnson 110 that had sat for several years with gas in the
carbs. I have removed and cleaned them out, and it runs great - except for one little thing. If you don't keep sqeezing the bulb on the fuel line, it dies. Is this a fuel pump thing, or is there anything else I should check before diving in and rebuilding or replacing the fuel pump? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Jack |
Repair question
you could either have a bad pump, OR ...
If you are using the origional tank and have put fresh gas in it, thats OK, but there is usually a filter or screen on the inside of the tank hooked up to the outlet line that may be choked up, not delivering the fuel and causing a vacuum in the line. |
