Torque for manifolds
I've got Chrysler 360s in my '79 Silverton. Does anyone know what the
required torque is for the exhaust manifold fasteners (OSCO replacements)? - Dave |
Torque for manifolds
I've never tightened anything other than heads to a specific torque. I
would use new bolts and antiseize. I would look for something close to 1/2" to 3/4" of threads going into the heads to make sure the bolts are the correct length. With a 3/8 drive rachet tighten well. If you insist the service manual typically has the specifications for just about all the fasteners. I would use the same spec as the stock manifolds.
