We were in the Galapagos in March. Was interesting to see the areas they
filmed in. Where the doctor first sees the enemy ship from the top of the
hill, is actually a hill on a desert island with a boardwalk to the top and
a navigation light. Board walk is on the opposite side of the island.

I had the same feeling having had been there in 2003. I had a greater
sense of what an odd place it must have been for those arriving there in the
1800's
