Gasoline prices.....they keep falling ;-)
$2.26/gallon at the street pumps just last week.........today down to $2.11.
This after a high of $3.14 following Katrina. A nice trend. ;-) |

Wish our trend was following your's more closely..... it's now down to $2.39 from $3.59+. $2.02 here and falling for regular. They give ten cents a gallon discount if you pump 10% ethanol and it's octane rating is +2 from regular. -- Skipper |

It's quite likely with most vehicles. Do not know if ethanol degrades a Silverado. We just get the regular and forgo the discount, free lottery ticket and cup of soda, that go with 10 gallons or more of ethanol. -- Skipper |

Let's hope the price at the docks will do the same by next Spring. ;-) I think part of what's driving down gas prices at the pump is all the public disgust at record oil company profits. That's likely to be a very short term trend. Right now, we're burning more oil than ever and discovering very few new fields. Unless you believe world petroleum reserves are infinite, then the long term trend is for gas to increase. DSK |

What's your point? This country is based upon citizen representatives in government. So, if you are in business then you can't every run for office? I'm sure that you have friends we could call cronies, does this disqualify you for public office? |

Yes, just as many democrat congressmen have interests in other businesses in the stock market yet they may have no cronies in those businesses..........or are you saying otherwise? Where did I say that and where does that say that Bush would expose himself to personal gains based on those acquaintances? |
