You don't have to go by single engine plane. Some Outfitters have twin Otters on floats. A great aircraft. My brother had a Cessna 185 on floats but he traded that for a 210. He didn't like the statistics of float planes. He should have gotten a turbine 208, that's a nice ride to altitude. Right now he is looking for a good 310 Turbo, with the Lycoming Engines. Service ceiling of 35,000 ft. Jim |
