Boating is over for the season for many of us, so...............

Try these 2 boat games to pass some time..................

I got 112 mph on the 'trimming a boat' game.

Your weather now is not any different than mine. We're still boating, and
so are thousands of others around here. Why is your boating season over?

I started the project of tearing out the captains seat and sink/ice box.
Also the Lake has been pretty wild the last few weeks and the snow will soon
be falling.

So I winterized the engine/outdrive and put her to bed till next year.

Boating will be shutting down at most marinas here by Nov. 1st.

Goes to show how little harry knows about boating (outside of his driveway)

My insurance coverage drops if the boat is in the water between 11/1 and
4/1.
I have to winterize the engines on Sunday. And then it gets shrinkwrpped
next week

Harry does not boat on the Great Lakes Paul and would not know about the
pull out dates around here.

Many, many people fish late into the winter, in boats, around the
Cleveland area.

Highs in the high fifties to low sixties, lows in the mid forties at
worst. That's damn fine fishing weather!

Who are you to question how I boat or when I take my boat out of the water
Kevin?

For all we know you don't even have a boat.

It's gettin' a little cold here in Long Island but as far as I'm
concerned pwc season has about another month at least, I've still been
riding about once a week through October so far with another run
planned for this weekend.

It's brutally cold today. It's 84 here in Arizona today. Might be time
to winterize.

The change of color on those cactus must be spectacular to view. Any pics?
;-) How was it during summer John? 105? 113?

I used to travel to Tucson AZ quite often and found it a pretty nice
place...........but that was over 20 years ago. We put up the only mall in
town then, named appropriately, the Tucson Mall. I could get to the
airport, no matter where I was, in 15 minutes.

I would guess that things in Tucson have changed just a *bit* over the past
20+ years. ;-)

I thought LaGuardia was a small airport, till I saw the airport in
Tucson. I thought the Mexican food was good in Phoenix till I had
Mexican in Tucson. Awesome!

There's no color here during any season unless you like brown. Phoenix
is a **** ugly place. Everything is brown. The cactus do get tiny
flowers in the spring. But, everything else is dirty and brown.
Pictures? This **** hole isn't worth the film. The only pretty places
are north of Phoenix.

It made it up to 115 this summer. Thats a bit shy of the 124 record
high a few years ago. Luckily, I wasn't here then. But 115 at 8% RH is
alot easier than NY's 100 @ 100%. Hot is way easier to handle when no
sweat is involved. It's so dry here, the sweat evaporates instantly.

I worked for a large property development/management company (including

specifications, plan reviews and installation approvals/acceptance testing.

Forest City Enterprises. I for many years represented a client, a major
player, in the shopping center business and another in the large-scale
commercial construction development business. In fact, I still have a
major client involved in finding occasional projects in the latter
business. Oh, and one of my oldest and "bestest" friends is a member of
the Ratner family. He's not in the family business, though.

Bingo!

I was sorry to see the passing of Ruth Ratner Miller 10 or so years ago.
She was a class act.

I was out in my 8-footer on the Fraser yesterday (didn't see any sign of
coho!), and plan on going up the coast in Far Cove on the long weekend in
2 weeks.

This time of year can be BIT "iffy" (Winds of November and all that), but
in two months, it's the second-best time of the year to go cruising (and
looking for winter springs!)
