What are the new rules? Do they suggest making the game interesting? Cripes....went to a Rochester game a couple years ago. 2-1 final score, all achieved in the last 5 minutes. My son concluded that cleaning his room was more interesting. |

They've changed the lines around, different offside rules, the game is a little faster, scoring appears to be up - a bunch of things that made sense to change years ago and never did. The NHL is quite possibly the worst run sporting league in existence. It's a great sport, but very poorly managed. |

They were trying to eliminate the 'trap' defence system used by teams such as New Jersey to slow down play. Since players are much bigger and faster than 40 or 50 years ago, I've always felt the NHL should finally go to International Ice Hockey ice size. That would encourage smaller, faster & skilled players to shine. |
