Another Bush screw-up looms...

I can't believe GWB let another one fail - how long can this go on???

By now the Bushiites should have tripled welfare expenditures (instead of
merely doubling it), controlled gas prices, personally carried every crack
whore out of New Orleans and blown every illegal alien in the US.

Where's Clinton when we need him - we'd at least have Medicaid blowjobs by
now.......

Yesterday on the news, the unemployment rate in New Orleans, before Katrina, was
said to be 27%. What the hell did all those people do? Where did they get the
money to do it?

It's called poverty, John. We should be thankful we haven't had to learn
those answers.

Or too much 'welfare' ?

We did have to learn those answers. We found work.

John, there is no "welfare" and hasn't been for years. You might want to
read up on the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity
Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA) and Temporary Assistance for Needy
Families (TANF). That's as close as it gets.

We did have to learn those answers. We found work.

It's called poverty - yep - because of cheap wine and crack smokin. Poverty
doesn't just "happen."

"Temporary" Assistance for Needy Families?

Reminds me of the old Doobie Brothers album:
