Not only that - it was a 8 foot inflatable - just had it on the news.

Damn, quite lucky and perhaps, quite stupid. I don't know what the
weather was like on the Sound, but I'm not that far away, and we had 10"
of rain during that time period. I'm not a fair weather fisherman, but I
wouldn't have gone out in that weather, especially in an 8' inflatable.
