For someone to spend that much time posting the same dribble over and
over again certainly gives the appearance that they are concerned
their 'cause' is a losing one and that they are acting out of
desperation.

If you truely enjoy political debate this much, take it to a group
where the readers are seeking various flavors of your dribble. This
ain't it!

And don't tell me I'm just picking on the Ds or the Non-Rs - 90% of
the OT Politica-propeganda garbage threads here are started by one of
2 or 3 socialists/democrats desperate to bash conservatism and
conservatives.

Yeah, I know I could just PLONK the posters, but I have notices that
once or twice over the past year they may have made a post that
actually contributed something boating related to the group. Besides,
people should have enough common courtesy to NOT POST SO MUCH OFF
TOPIC CRAP!

Just my $0.02

Regardless of Dem. or Rep. OT postings, just think of them as
frustrated little men with small peckers, that don't have the balls to
take their political views to the appropriate group, where they'd get
chewed up and spit (spat) out in the real political groups.
They get indignant and self rightious when people express concerns
like yours ....... don't believe me? .......watch this space for
frustrated little men with no political BALLS to reply, then smile as
they try to justify that their pearls of wisdom, is what the group
needs! Makes me wonder if they take their arrogance with them when
they're on the water, hard to believe they don't!

Yepper, a number of us "pure boaters" have objected to the replubicrat
neo-politico rants which smother the boat aspect of the group. But what can
we do?

I rarely read the Hop group anymore just for that reason.

I do not think the rednecks are the ones starting the OT posts.

I agree as do the vast silent majority of readers of this newsgroup.
There are only a few awful trolls here that start the OT posts. In
other goups I read, OT trolls are not fed. They are told to post their
OT posts to the appropriate groups and then ignored. They eventually
either go away or stop.

BTW: I am off for the holiday weekend and will be on my boat.

Yipppeee!!!!!

Don't feed the trolls, it will only make them grow.

Love you all
