Here you are calling liberals stupid and you fail to realize that Eisenhower was a Republican. BTW among of the chief proponents of The Domino Theory, and in particular applying it to Southeast Asia, are two Democrats (deeply under cover, or perhaps 'in the closet' would be an appropriate phrase) named Henry Kissinger and Richard Nixon. You may have heard of them. Good work in discrediting the neoconservative right, Comrade Nobby! DSK Nobby spend his college days in trade school, instead of in mind-expanding liberal arts classes. LOL. So how far does a liberal arts degree get you in real life? And Liberal Arts classes? Nothing but fluff by most students used as fillers or guaranteed "A's". Mind expanding indeed. Did you even go to college, feces-for-brains? Do you know what the Liberal Arts are? Probably not. The classical liberal arts included: Grammar, or, in modern terms, learning how to put together the elements of language usage. Rhetoric, or how to speak. Logic, or how to think. Arithmetic, the study of numbers in themselves, the math you need to get rhrough life. Geometry, the study of numbers in space, the numbers that help you think "outside of the box." Music, the study of numbers in time. Astronomy, the study of numbers in time and space. Modern liberal arts include lots more in the areas of arts amd sciences. What college degrees do you hold, Dennis? Do you even have a GED? LOL! I am obviously far more educated and successful in life than you are Krause. Oh,obviously, Dennis. I can tell by your thought processes, your writing skills, and the fact that you live in the Cleveland area. Yup, them's the convincers. Dennis, I've yet to see one original, clever post from you on any subject. Got a college degree, Dennis? If you had any sort of education, you'd know a little about the liberal arts. The fact that you don't is evidence you are nee kulturny. So you base one's level of education and success on where they live or the subject matters they bring up in a remote NG such as rec.boats? I base my assessment of your intelligence on what you have posted here and how well (or poorly) your posts are written. In other words, content, and ability to express. This is, after all, a forum of written words. You obviously need to expand your horizons and think outside of the box.....that is if you are capable of doing so. The world is full of examples to prove you wrong. But one would expect such shallow thinking from you. Well, of course, Dennis. But, again, there is nothing in your writings to indicate any particular "brightness" on your part. You have no style, no elan, no panache...you're deadly dull. I can make a bet with you that my net worth is far beyond yours I'm pleased that you think you can "make" a bet with me, Dennis, in the absence of my agreement to said bet. You can offer a bet...that is all. As for your net worth, I really don't give a ****. It doesn't matter how much money you have - you're still an ignorant ass. ....a bet you would surely pass on (as you did with the $5,000 bet on the lobster boat and your wife's education). I am quite confident that I would win that bet. Doing so, however, would only be a small victory as the real issues in life are one's love of family, credibility, morals and worth to society. Really? I think you value your net worth more. You obviously fail on the later 3 counts. I am confident my feelings are shared by most in this NG. I've seen no evidence here of your love of family, credibility, morals or worth to society. In fact, your morals, as it were, seem loathsome. As a closing note.....I do find it quite amusing that you often respond to my posts that you don't care what I think, I don't; you're just an easy target. Sort of like a nose with a huge pimple on it, eh? You are way too easy Krause and continue to show that you realize I am your puppetmaster. Dance for me some more Krause. LOL! |

Careful, Harry. Using the phrase "liberal arts" could awaken Dave Hall from his coffin. Remember his diatribe regarding "liberal arts", wherein it was explaine to him that in such a context, "liberal" was used in the same way a cookbook might say "....add liberal grindings of fresh pepper"? |
