What kind of raft/boat is did I see?
It looked like a 4 person inflatable raft with a nice canopy over it.
However on the back was a small outboard motor with wheels on top of it. It was travelinga bout 8-10mph out across the lake. --Cam |

When the dinghy is on land, the wheels are folded down under the transom so that the back end (the heavy end with the motor attached) is held off the ground by the wheels. The operator can then lift the bow and simply roll the boat down the launch ramp / beach into the water. Once in the water the wheels fold up so that they don't drag in the water while underway. They do look a little funny because the often ride above the height of the motor. Rod |
