remote shifter
 

Hello everyone, Hey how can I tell who made my remote shifter so I can
try to get a part for it. I have a 1993 Sunbird with an OMC Cobra
sterndrive. I do have the original service manual and parts catalog but
the parts manual doesn't show any parts for the remote shifter even
though it looks exactly like the one in the service manual.
I need the red plastic neutral lock slide you lift up on.

To the best of my knowledge, Morse (now owned by Teleflex) made the
controls for all of the Cobra drives.

tell me what model maybe?

Possibly, but the best way is to call Teleflex. I called them awhile back
about parts for a steering system and they were very helpful.
