Replacing impeller, 1954 Evinrude 7.5 hp Fast Twin
 

Looking for some expertise g. I need to replace the
impeller in my outboard and need to know how much has to
come off before the gear shift can be disconnected. From
what I've read so far, the power head has to come off. It's
a model 7514. I replaced the impeller in my old 25 hp
Johnson but that was almost 30 years ago and I don't
remember what was involved.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
