What next?
Started the spring with a heel spurr.
Early August I injured my ribs working on my boat. This month I stubbed my toe and developed an ingrown toenail. Of course I let it go too long until it got infected and sore as hell. Today I went to the doctor for relief. He had me lay on the exam table and proceeded to jamb his scissors between the nail and toe so he could cut a v-shaped wedge along one side and rip it out. He didn't warn me he was going to do the operation without freezing. After, he informed me that the freezing doesn't take well with infection present. Now I'll be wearing sandles for a few days and expect every fifth person I encounter to step on or stub my toe. Wonder if I can get my steel toed shoes on? |

Sorry to hear about your toe - I broke my left big toe this Spring and it wasn't pretty. If it helps you out any, one of my tenants has a black lab who dug a tunnel/hole half way to the other street which I promptly fell into this afternoon while cutting the grass which threw me off my lawn tractor causing me to land on my bad shoulder which is to be operated on in November and now hurts like hell. Funny you should ask. I used to sing Barbershop both chorus and quartet when I was in high school. We had a big SPEBSQSA chapter in town and most of us garage band types (there were three popular garage bands in town) sang acapela for various functions and it was a natural way to train with folks who really knew how to sing. It was a ton of fun, I'll tell you what. However I lost my singing voice after straining my vocal cords screaming at a group of putzes during a training session when they really annoyed me something fierce when I was in the service. I actually miss it to tell the truth. I was a member of the Basilica boys Choir for a number of years...but after my voice changed I went downhill. |

I forget the name, but it was located at the rear of the Park, down by the bumper car ride. Before my time, some big time swing bands used to play there including the Tom Dorsey orchrestra. Cedar Fair owns not only Cedar Point but also a number of other amusement parks across the country.....perhaps yours is one of them. http://www.cedarfair.com/ I don't know about other parks besides Cedar Point and Geauga Lake, but based on the quality of those parks I would say it is a class organization.
